There are various volunteer opportunities for you to help at Magothy River Middle. Please review the list below with a brief description of volunteer opportunities available through the PTSO. If you’d like to help with our Marlin Night school carnival with food, games, silent auctions, raffles, inflatables, and much more, please email Eva Wein. It’s a lot of fun, and is the biggest fundraiser of the school year!

8th Grade End of Year Promotion Activities – assist administration with end of year activities.

Book Fair – volunteer during the book fair.

Fundraisers – help plan and execute PTSO fundraisers that are held throughout the year.

Hospitality – help with teacher appreciation events.

Marlin Night – help with all aspects of this in-school fundraiser (the biggest event of the year!)

PBIS Marlin Store – volunteer in the school store during lunch periods.

Recreational Reading – work with student groups to discuss books.

Teacher Projects – copy, laminate, 3-hole punch, etc.
